Pakistan Thanks LDS Church for Humanitarian Aid

Pakistan Citizens Thank LDS Church for Help

The country of Pakistan is in a difficult position, especially now since the 20 million Pakistanis are being affected by the massive flooding.  In their words, they’ve said:

"'We are a nation that on one hand is fighting for the end of terror and on the other having to fight this
natural disaster,' he said, reminding those present of Pakistan's role as 'a country on the frontline fighting
terrorism ... and making sure that another 9/11 doesn't happen again.'"

Although in such a difficult position, the Pakistani ambassador made a special trip to church headquarters in SLC to thank the LDS church and its members for the humanitarian aid sent during the late-summer monsoon rains.
